October 4, 2009: Court of Honor

On Sunday, October 4 at 1:30pm at the Forest Ecology Preserve on North College, Troop 15 scouts held the October Court of Honor to present Second Class rank to all of the scouts who joined the Troop in 2009, and to award Merit Badges to those who completed Merit Badges either at Summer Camp, Advance-A-Rama, or individually with a MB counselor. Justin Smith assisted Scoutmaster Todd Sandt as MC for the event to fullfil requirement completion of his Communications MB. Parents, Scouts and visitors enjoyed a special cake and drinks provided by Lisa Sandt, Troop Committee Chair, and Carol Burkhalter, Committee Member. Afterward the troop was able to walk a short distance through the woods of the Ecology preserve to visit Joey Marlett's Eagle Project site that many of the scouts worked in helping complete.
