Note On Rechartering

Rechartering can be a very simple process-as simple as 1-2-3-4! Step #1: Recharter workshops are held for every district. Contact your District Commissioner for more information about this date, when your unit will receive its rechartering materials and instructions on how to complete them. Step #2: Conduct a membership inventory with the assistance of your Unit Commissioner. Review each name on your charter, follow instructions for marking who to register, then determine the total number of youth and adults you will be rechartering. Step #3: Conduct a charter review with your Unit Commissioner. Complete the online process and get all necessary signatures. Determine the amount of money your unit needs to submit. Step #4: Turn recharter paperwork and fees in at the designated recharter turn in meeting for your district.
