District Information:

The Saugahatchee District of the Chattahoochee Council of Boy Scouts of America covers most of Lee County, Alabama. The district includes 11 Boy Scout Troops, 15 Cub Scout Packs, and 3 Venture Crew serving all Lee County boys.

Local scouting events and activities are organized and run by the District Committee. The District Committee consists of representatives from various scout units and members of the community at large. The District Committee is led by the District Chair and committee chairs in the areas of Camping, Training, Membership, Advancement, Finance, Activities, Civic Service, Communications and Publicity. The District Commissioner is responsible for oversight of the District units through the work of the Commissioner's staff. The District Commissioner also oversees the Roundtable Staff for the monthly leader's roundtable meetings.
