Popcorn Sales Kickoff Information will be given by the Council
to insure a successful Trail's End Popcorn Sales Event for your Troup/Pack. Most
of the funds you would need for your Unit for the year could be obtained through
this fund raiser. Scouts can earn enough to pay for Summer
Camp. Units can earn enough to pay for activities and awards for the year. If
a Scout sells $600 of popcorn, the unit receives $200. If a scout sells $900 of
popcorn, the unit receives $300, $1200 in sales yields $400 for the unit. So if
you have 20 scouts that sell $1200 in popcorn, the unit receives $8,000. Popcorn
sales are broken up into three elements: ----Show 'n Sell
is like booth sales in front of a retail store, but not limited to that. You can
set up a show 'n sell anywhere that you have permission. You can even sell individual
packets of popcorn for a suggested price of $1.00 to anyone. ---Show
'n Deliver is like Show 'n Sell except you sell in your community or other area
you know well, making the sale and delivering the product immediately. You do
not have to return to collect money or deliver product. ----Take
Orders use the forms passed out at Pack meeting. Take Orders represent the bulk
of Pack 15 sales. This is a convenient way to sell the product to neighbors, relatives
and friends. No one can resist a scout in uniform. ----Internet
Orders are for those you know who do not live locally, or for some who do but
who you cannot get to with your take order form for some reason. You give them
your site to order from and your specific "key code" that they will
input so you get credit for your sale. The calendar for
