6, 2007: Troop 15 took 14 boys and a handful of adults to Camp Lumpkin for summer
camp this past June. It was the first summer camp for most of the boys in our
troop. We will attend Camp Daniel Boone in NC next summer and are already registered.
In the summer of 2009 Troop 15 is planning to take one or two crews to the Northern
tier High Adventure Base in Ely Minnesota for a back country canoe trip. We are
going to canoe in the Quetico Provincial Park in the Boundary Waters for ten days
fishing for Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, and Walleye along the way making our
way canoeing and portaging from Canada back into the US. We returned from Philmont
on July 16th. We put between 80 and 90 miles in on the trail and bagged four of
the five tallest peaks out there, Mt Phillips, Trail Peak, Big Red and Comanche
Peak. Three leaders and four boys from T-15 went. I returned last night from a
rafting trip with the older guys in the troop this past weekend. We went rafting
on the Nantahala in NC and Ocoee in TN. Class 3 to Class 5 rapids. We also traveled
to Cherokee NC to check out the Ocunaluftee Village an "Onto These Hills" show. ---------------------------------------- June
2007: Matt Beck has been elected Chapter Chief by the Si Tan Micco Chapter of
Chattahoochee Lodge 204 Order of the Arrow. ----------------------------------------
Troop
15 has added a new patrol to its membership the Eagle Patrol. Welcome new scouts. ---------------------------------------- April
2007: Troop 15 has three adults and four scouts preparing for Philmont Expedition
702-G2 this June. They will be backpacking for ten days in the Sangre de Christo
Mountains and hiking through popular places at the ranch to include; Black Mountain,
Beaubien, Trail Peak, Mount Phillips, Cimaroncito and the Tooth of Time. Their
 activities
will include western lore, black powder rifle shooting, panning for gold, fly
tying and trout fishing, horseback riding, environment conservation, and leave
no trace camping. The crew will be hiking between 55 and 70 miles and will earn
the Philmont Arrowhead Award and the BSA Fifty Miler Award.

Boy Scout Troop 15:
6th-12th Grade or 11-18 years
old Troop Meetings are held at the Kiwanis Scout
Hut on Heard Ave in Auburn. We will start at 7PM and end at 9PM. Boys are required
to wear Scout Uniform and bring their Scout Handbook, Notebook and Pen meetings.
Scouts who are First Class rank or higher are required to set an example by wearing
the full scout uniform. (Must have Official Scout Pants and Belt) Scout
Leader Roundtable meetings are at Lakeview Baptist Church (Located at Glenn Ave
